  Monday, January 26, 7:00 p.m.: The author will speak before the Classic City Pilots' Club at the Holiday Inn in Athens, Georgia. CANECELLED DUE TO ICE STORM—rescheduled for March 15th.

Sunday, February 8, 6:00-7:00 p.m.:
The author will be interviewed live on the Baltimore radio show "Turning the Tide." WCBM (680 AM; also broadcast over the internet)

Sunday, February 22:
Interview with author in the Taunton [Massachusetts] Daily Gazette.

Monday, March 15, 7:00 p.m.:
The author will speak before the Classic City Pilots' Club at the Holiday Inn, 197 East Broad Street, in Athens, Georgia. The club expressed its appreciation by presenting a monetary contribution in the author's name to Project Safe, a local shelter for abused women.

Wednesday-Saturday, March 24-27, San Antonio, Texas:
The author will sign copies of her book at the 2004 Conference on College Composition and Communication.

April:
An article about Finding Susan appeared in the April issue of Athens Magazine.

Monday, April 5, 5:00 p.m.:
The author will speak at a domestic violence law class at the University of Georgia Law School—Athens.

Thursday, April 8:
The author will be presented with an award for her contribution to the worldwide fight to end violence against women at the opening night showing of The Vagina Monologues at the Morton Theater, Athens, Georgia. The award at The Vagina Monologues was given out immediately following the 7:00 p.m. performance on April 8. The author, along with four other local activists in the cause of fighting violence against women, was honored as a Vagina Warrior.

Sunday, April 18, 5:00 p.m.:
The author will speak to the Women Who Read Too Much book club in Decatur, Georgia.

Saturday, April 24, 10:00 a.m.:
The author will speak and sign copies of her book at an annual brunch sponsored by Black Against Black Crime to remember homicide victims, as part of National Crime Victim Rights Week, at Beulah Grove Community Resource Center, 1446 Lee Beard Way, Augusta, Georgia.

Wednesday, May 19, 7:30 p.m.:
The author will talk about her book to the Third-Wednesday Book Club in Athens, Georgia. Location to be announced.


Spring:
The author was featured in the Alumna Focus section of the Dana Hall School Bulletin [Wellesley, Massachusetts], Spring 2004. The Spring 2004 issue came out in June.


Saturday, June 5, 4:30-5:30 p.m.: The author will participate in Book Expo America being held at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. The author will be located at Table 20 and will sign books there at that time. Finding Susan was named the Bronze medal winner in ForeWord Magazine's national Book of the Year Awards, in the category of True Crime. The winners were announced at Book Expo America on June 4.


Monday, July 19, Noon: The author will speak at the Athens West Rotary Club at the Holiday Inn, Athens, Georgia.

Monday-Monday, August 2-9: The author will teach a seminar on Writing and Healing, a project that grows out of her experience writing Finding Susan, at the Ghost Ranch Education and Retreat Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Saturday, November 13:
